Dog Control Officer

Dog Complainant Form
The Dog Control Officer is appointed by the Town Board.  His responsibilities include ensuring that the Local Dog Law is being enforced, answering complaint calls from residents, and seeing that dogs in the Township are licensed and have current rabies shots.

He is on call 24/7 to help residents with any dog problems that are encountered.

The Town of Waddington enforces a Local Law which pertains to Village and Town residents which is designed to protect the health, safety and well-being of persons and property by imposing restrictions on the keeping and running-at-large of dogs within the Township.  It also contains provisions for the licensing of all dogs 4 months or older that live in the Town and Village of Waddington.
